English: "Galerías Pacífico" is a shopping mall in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The building was built in 1894 as the seat of Au Bon Marché stores (inspired on ). From 1896 to 1940 the building was seat of Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes.
Some financial problems caused the bulding was sold to Buenos Aires & Pacific Railway (BAP) in 1908. After severe deterioration through the years, the building was declared National historic monument of Argentina in 1989, and then completely refurbished. The building reopened as a shopping mall in May 1992. (sources: (1), (2)
