The Gad temple of Ramtek stands in front of the Rama temple inside the Ramtek fort on Ramagiri. It is a three-storey temple with bands of historic Hindu artwork. These depict the Vishnu avatar legends and scenes from the Hindu epic Ramayana. Of particular note are Hanuman with his Gada (mace). This temple serves are the passage way to the Rama temples complex.
