English: Gabrielle Krauss (24 March 1842 – 6 January 1906), Austrian operatic soprano who made her debut in 1859 as Mathilde in Rossini's Guillaume Tell at the Vienna Hofoper, and sang at the Théâtre-Italien in Paris from 1859 to 1870. She performed Rachel in Halévy's La Juive at the inaugural performance of the Palais Garnier and continued to sing with the Paris Opera up to 1888.
