English: Spitfire F Mk.Ia, serial number AR213, was acquired by Group Captain Allen H. Wheeler on 25 October 1946 and registered as G-AIST. In 1968 it flew in the film Battle of Britain. In April 1989 it was acquired by Sheringham Aviation.[58] In 2002 it underwent another restoration, repainted with 57 OTU colours, and coded "JZ-E" (JZ was the squadron code of No. 57 Operational Training Unit RAF).
