French Hill (Yokohama)
[edit]French Hill, also known as Mount France, is the location of the former French barracks and French consulate north of the current Minato-no-Mieru Oka Koen (Harbor View Park) (港の見える丘公園 みなとのみえるおかこうえん), in Yamate, Naka-ku, Yokohama. Yokohama City acquired the area from France in 1971 and developed it as part of the park,[1] and was finally opened to the public in 1972.
