Former home of the Royden family whose name is inescapable in Frankby. They were latterly shipowners in Liverpool, and amassed a huge fortune. The last of the line sold the estate to Wallasey Corporation in 1933 and it was developed as a cemetery. The hall now functions as cemetery offices and chapels. Further Information.
