Former Franciscan monastery. Established by bishop György Széchényi. Built in 1652-1657, extended in 18th century Remodelled in 1949. Renovated in 1994. Over the entry is Coat of arms of the György Széchényi (1652 limestone relief with Latin inscription) Refektorium with valued ceiling stuccos. The once-rich collection of images of the monastery was partially lost after 1945; partially destroyed. Among the remaining oil paintings, the corridors of the monastery show the oil painting "The Miracle of Miracles" painted in 1682. The votive painting of the Esther house family dates back to 1708. Other notable works include two oil paintings by the founding Bishop György Széchenyi, pictures of Franciscan saints in oval frames, and other votive images. - 7 Szent István Square, Sümeg, Veszprém County, Hungary.
