English: Fort Augustaborg (also: "Augustenburg") was built in 1787 by the Danish at the village Teshie (Danish: "Tessing"; English: "Tassy"), east of Accra (Ghana). The name of this fort goes back to the Princess Louise Auguste, the 1771 born daughter of the then King Christian VII of Denmark.
