English: Military airfield east of the village, also know as Plarenga airfield, 1200 meter long and 300 meter wide grass runway
- End of the First World War : base for flying troops for refresher courses
- April 1937, aviation pioneer Walter Mittelholzer landed a Swissair Douglas DC-2 in front of 2000 spectators.
- From Second World War : airfield for fighters and for the tow planes used in the anti-aircraft shooting courses in Brigels. Emergency landings airfield during the Second World War (US B-24 bomber crashed on 16 November 1944 on the Dreibündenstein, Furggabüel)
- 1943 : standardized light aircraft hangar built.
- From 1973 : transformed into a refueling station and helicopter hangar.
- 2004 : abandoned, until 2003, Heliswiss operated a civil helicopter base.
- Today the new Plarenga Center and the new fire brigade base of Domat/Ems and Felsberg are located here.
