The Fleetwood Metal Body Company was founded in 1909 as a coachbuilder. In 1920, Fleetwood did 80 % of its work for Packard, 10 % for Pierce-Arrow, 5 % for Cadillac and 5 % for others. The company was bought by GM in 1925, became a Fisher body division in 1930, and was located in Fleetwood, PA until 1931. This category is for coachwork made by Fleetwood before the GM-Fisher era and the move to Detroit, 1909-1931.
