English: The First Roman Catholic Cathedral of Hong Kong was built in 1843. Initially called the Chapel of the Conception, it later became a cathedral. It was extensively damaged by fire on 19 October 1859. It was rebuilt/repaired in 1860. Destroyed again by fire in 1872. It was demolished in 1886. The cathedral was replaced by the Immaculate Conception Cathedral of Hong Kong. More information: [1]
