English: The Fame class ships of the line consisted of nine 74-gun 3rd rates, built for the Royal Navy. They were the HMS Albion (launched 1802), HMS Hero and HMS Illustrious (launched 1803), HMS Fame (launched 1805, but the first ordered), HMS York, HMS Marlborough and HMS Sultan (launched 1807), HMS Royal Oak (launched 1809) and HMS Hannibal (launched 1810).
