"Face of the Community" was an artwork by Marco Marcon & Rodney Glick located at Cockburn Central railway station, visible from the Kwinana Freeway. It depicted a boy and an older woman, each of which was the composite of 120 images of members of the Cockburn community. It proved controversial at times and there were occasional calls for its replacement. It was decommissioned in 2019, and replaced with Carnaby's Black Cockatoos.
