Japan uses FM radio frequencies in its own band (76-90 MHz, will be extended to 95 MHz). Some radio receivers go up to 108 MHz. In most other countries, such as Germany and Malaysia, the support of frequencies lower than 87.5 MHz by broadcast radio receivers is strongly frowned upon.
