English: FISTA, or the Flying Infrared Signatures Technology Aircraft, was a U.S. Air Force program using modified NKC-135 aircraft (an 'A' model, 55-3120, and later an 'E' model, 55-3135) to take calibrated infrared measurements of other aircraft to study the nature of aircraft signatures.
