The F.R.P. was a powerful high-class automobile built in very small numbers from 1914 until 1916 by the Finley Robertson Porter Company in Port Jefferson, NY. There were also three Porter-Knight racecars with sleeve-valve engines made for the 1915 Indianapolis 500.
An improved F.R.P. was built as the Porter automobile by the American & British Manufacturing Corporation in Bridgeport, CT, from 1919 until 1922.
