Everton Waterworks was designed by Thomas Duncan in 1864 and remains in use as a reservoir for Liverpool, and its tower is a local landmark. Three of its elements are listed at Grade II by Historic England: the tower and attached north building, the south building, and the retaining wall to the north along Hodson Place.
