Other than in by-far earlier attempts to regain some political authority over his country Tibet, the 14th Dalai Lama, on 14 March 2011, formally resigned as a political leader of the Tibetans.
He declares himself to be 'just' monk, and to be the as-of-now spiritual leader of Tibean Buddhists, but he loudly claims for justice, which means that Chinese promises given as early as in the 1950ies by Mao Zedong, that ...

  • Tibet would be an Autonomous regions of the People's Republic of China, and
  • Human rights would be granted.

Both, as of 2012, is not the case, and the situation even worsens.
Tibetans are becoming foreigners in their own country, overruled by Chinese which are attracted to Tibet by financially most favorable terms and conditions, granted by Beijing's government.
Therefore, 35 Tibetans, mostly nuns and monks, had suicided by self-immolation, from 2011-2012.
This Solidarity Rally tried to call attention on Tibetan's unacceptable human rights situation.
