English: Description CWGC: Location Information:The small town of Franeker is 10 kilometres east of Harlingen on the Leeuwarden-Harlingen road.The cemetery is on the western outskirts of the town, in Harlingerweg next to the park. The Commonwealth war graves are in the centre of the cemetery next to a large tree. Historical Information: Franeker General Cemetery contains the graves of three Commonwealth airmen of the Second World War, one of them unidentified.
Nederlands: Het Erehof Franeker is gelegen op de algemene begraafplaats van Franeker. Er liggen drie militairen van de Canadese Luchtmacht begraven. Twee zijn geïdentificeerd, één graf is van een tot op heden niet geidentificeerde Canadese luchtmacht - officier die op 20 juli 1942 is gesneuveld.
