Deutsch: Ursprünglich war das Areal der zentrale Teil der oberösterreichischen Landesausstellung 2006. Im Anschluss wurde es für ein Museum adaptiert und der österreichischen Gesellschaft für Eisenbahngeschichte (ÖGEG) übergeben, die es als „Eisenbahn- und Bergbaumuseum Ampflwang“ betreibt, wobei die ÖGEG den Eisenbahnteil oftmals als „Lokpark Ampflwang“ bezeichnet.
