Eck & Fisher were ice cream manufacturers and wholesalers, the factory located at North Thirteenth and Early Street in Allentown (514-518 North 13th Street). The business was opened in June 1916 by Charles A Eck & William A Fisher, and were known for their "Velvet" Ice cream, which was sold by grocery stores and ice cream parlors locally. Eck & Fisher were well-known also for their annual ice cream stand at the Allentown Fair. In December 1930, the business was sold to Sealtest Ice Cream, which made ice cream sandwiches in that building. Bud Kuhns bought the building and moved his auto repair shop there until they relocated to the Trexlertown area, having built a new building on part of the old auto auction/wrecking yard.

a national ice cream firm and the plant was closed. Today the building remains in use as an automobile service garage.
