This category contains distribution maps that are not placed in their taxon/species category. There can be multiple reasons:

1. The species category exist => put the file in its species category
2. The species category does not exist
   1. the species is well know by reference web sites like AlgaeBASE & FishBase & Mammal Species of the World (2005) => create the species category
   2. the species has been recently discovered and is not described in a reference web site like AlgaeBASE & FishBase & Mammal Species of the World (2005) => move the file to Category:Distribution maps needing taxon category in the future)
