Place here directional road signs of Singapore. These are signs that tell road users which direction to turn. They include:
  • dedicated lane signs that show which lanes are to be used to reach particular destinations;
  • map-type signs that show a simplified plan view of a junction; and
  • stack-type signs that show destinations in each direction in a separate column on a sign together with an arrow showing which way to turn.
Directional signs can appear by the roadside or mounted overhead. Overhead signs are used on expressways and other wide roads where roadside signs might be obstructed by traffic.
