Deutsch: Der Deutsche Pfadfinderbund (DPB) ist ein bündischer, unabhängiger, interkonfessioneller Pfadfinderbund und ist Mitglied im Ring junger Bünde. Er wurde 1945 durch Walther Jansen und Ebbo Plewe gegründet und besteht aus einem Jungenbund, einem Mädchenbund, dem Orden St. Georg über der Jungenschaft und dem Orden St. Christophorus als gleichberechtigten Bundesteilen und ist rein ehrenamtlich organisiert.

English: The German Boy Scout Federation (DPB) is an alliance, independent, interdenominational scout federation and is a member of the ring of young fraternities. It was founded in 1945 by Walther Jansen and Ebbo Plewe and consists of a boys 'union, a girls' union, the order of St. George over the youth and the order of St. Christophorus as equal parts of the federal government and is organized on a purely voluntary basis.
