The Type 148 L (light) succeeded, after the Second World War, the type 148 with a shorter wheelbase (3.15 m instead of 3.35 m) and an increase in power of the 6-cylinder in-line engine of 3,557 cm3 at 95 hp with a single carburetor and at 110 hp with three carburetors (instead of 90 hp for the Type 148).
