Dappled light and shadow, most often called dappled light and dappled shade, is produced when sunlight or other light is filtered through breaks in objects that provide major shade areas, such as tree leaves and branches, giving pools of a dotted or broken light effect on other surfaces. In the case of trees, it is not merely 'shadows of trees'. Please only add files here that show substantial areas of dappling, and where that dappling becomes a major feature of the photo, and use the appropriate sub-category.
