The house is clad in stucco with a hipped roof, front gable, decorative bargeboard and brackets, a decorative completed attic window, one-over-one and two-over-two double-hung windows, two-story bay windows on the front and side facades, a unique stair-stepped triple window at the stairs on the side facade, a front porch with stucco columns and a second floor enclosed to create a solarium, decorative window trim, scalloped wooden shingle cladding on the gable ends, and stucco cladding on the stone base.

The house is a contributing structure in the Mansion Hill Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
