English: Curtis Kittyhawk IV 42-106101 served with No. 80 Squadron RAAF with serial no. A29-556 from 1943 until it was written off in a landing accident in New Guinea in May 1944. The fuselage from 42-106101 and parts from various other aircraft were used to create the current display aircraft. It is displayed at the Royal Air Force Muyseum Hendon, London as Kittyhawk FX760 GA-? of No. 112 Squadron RAF, in which WOFF. Halpin was shot down and killed in Italy on 21 August 1944.
