- It was the headquarters of the former Nagykanizsa Trade and Industry Company (founded in 1867, founded under a new name in 1869). In 1886, with a café in the groundfloor it was built on part of the plot of Rosenberg and Welisch's house. In 1911 its façade was renovated. It was rebuilt in 1926. In the early 1960s, the additional storey were added. - Building history plaque: "The headquarters of the bank is a building of local importance. The eclectic headquarters of Trade and Industry was built in 1886. It was designed by Ludwig Schöne from Vienna and executed by the local Lajos Sallér. The blacksmith works, the masterpieces of Gyula Jungfer from Budapest. The financial institution was founded in 1867 and became a branch of the Hungarian Commercial Bank of Pest in 1896. Merging with the People's Savings Bank in 1922, it continued its activities here under this name until 1947.//The memorial plaque was erected in 2004: GE Hungary Rt. Egykori Nagykanizsai Kereskedelmi és Iparbank (1867-ben alakult, 1869-ben új néven alakult) székháza. 1886-ban,-alsó részén kávéházzal,-épült Rosenberg és Welisch háza telkének egy részén. 1911-ben homlokzatát felújították. 1926-ban átépítették. Az 1960-as évek elején történt az emeletráépítés. - Emléktábla: "Banki székház helyi jelentőségű épület. A Kereskedelmi és Iparbank eklektikus székháza 1886-ban épült. Tervezője a bécsi Ludwig Schöne, kivitelezője a helyi Sallér Lajos volt. A kovácsmunkák, a budapesti Jungfer Gyula remekei. Az 1867-ben alakult pénzintézet, 1896-ban a Pesti Magyar Kereskedelmi Bank fiókja lett. A Néptakarékpénztárral 1922-ben egyesülve, e néven folytatta itt tevékenységét egészen 1947-ig.//Az emléktáblát állíttatta a 2004. esztendőben: GE Hungary Rt.
