Ipoly Area Country flag memorial It was originally inaugurated in 1933 in memory of the territories torn apart by the Treaty of Trianon. The flag was demolished in the late '40s and a fountain was built in its place. Rebuilt by the Order of Vitéz in 2004 (other source 2005). It was rebuilt on the initiative of the World Federation of Hungarians with the support of the Municipality of Balassagyarmat and the Civitass Fortissima Circle from public donations. With the 'sacrificial work' of valiant Péter Honti, valiant László Szakács, stonemason János Békési - Palóc (former Erzsébet) Grove /Est. 1898/, Balassagyarmat, Nógrád County, Hungary.

Ipoly-menti Országzászló Eredetileg Munk (Magos) Rezső kivitelezésében 1933-ban adták át a trianoni békeszerződés által elszakított területek emlékére.
