Arlesian Woman Costumes
The Arlesian woman costume or habit is a purely female ceremonial outfit originally worn by adult Arlesian women and adopted throughout the Pays d'Arles and even beyond ; young girls and teenagers (under fifteen years) wear the "Mireille costume". It's an ancestral local name characteristic of the Arlesian culture and which must therefore be translated nearly "word for word". It is therefore a sub-category of Category:Traditional clothing of the Pays d'Arles, alongside the Mireille's costume and the gardian's costume.
