Corymbia torelliana has a few individuals planted as ornamental trees in 7th Brigade Park. Bark is green to grey and shed annually, except for a persistent stocking at the base of the trunk and major limbs. They flower heavily in late spring and provide nectar for birds, mammals and insects. While it can be invasive in some areas of southeast Queensland and northeast New South Wales it is not currently establishing itself in 7th Brigade Park.
