The Conway Chapel is located in the scriptorium of Birkenhead Priory. It is dedicated to HMS Conway, a training ship established in 1859 for the Royal and Merchant Navies; it became a shore establishment based at Plas Newydd, Anglesey in 1953 and closed in 1974.
