The Convento (Iglesia de La Compañía is located on Benalcázar in the Historic Center of Quito, the best-preserved, least altered historic center in Latin America. In Spanish, (El Centro Histórico de Quito) was constructed on what was once a 16th century Inca city at 2,850 meters above sea level in the Andes Mountains near the Equator. A gigantic courtyard separates access from Capilla del Milagro de la Dolorosa, (Quito) to Compañía de Jesús, Quito on Calle Garcia Moreno.


A UNESCO World Heritage Site that stretches over 790 acres and contains 130 monumental buildings, 5,000 smaller properties, The Colonial Center of Quito has numerous Churches and Convents.


Inside the Convento (Iglesia de La Compañía, Quito), which is part of the Capilla del Milagro de la Dolorosa is a walking area that connects to the inside of Iglesia de La Compañía.
