English: Constantinus (Thomas) Schoen, O. Cist. (1861–1934) was a Belgian Cistercian abbot. He was abbot during the First World war, during his abbatiate the abbey suffered serious attacks. In 1914 he evacuated important patrimony to Antwerp.[1] Schoen was born in Steenbergen on 24 January 1861. He entered Saint Bernard Abbey in Bornem, Belgium, where he was elected abbot in 1901, in succession to Amadeus de Bie, serving until 1934. He built the hospital wing and the archives.[2] In 1924 he ordained Franciscus Janssens Abbot of Pont-Colbert. Schoen died in the abbey in 1934 and was succeeded by Godefridus Indewey.
