This statue at Maghull North railway station, was unveiled in December 23018 and commemorates with worke done by former Moss Isde Hospital, which stood nearby. The hospital was pioneering in its work of treating soldiers of the First World War suffering from shell-shock, a condition now recognised as PTSD.
