English: The communion table of St. Peter's was carved in oak by Harry Hems of Exeter under the direction of the architect Frederick Shaw in a neo-classical design with a tripartite relief with Corinthian columns and angels above the arches. The communion table was dedicated by the Archbishop of Dublin on 5 December 1909. (See DIA record.)
