English: Kaleb (c. 520), also known as Saint Elesbaan, was a King of Aksum, which was situated in modern-day Eritrea and Tigray, Ethiopia. Procopius calls him "Hellestheaeus", a variant of Greek Ελεσβόάς version of his regnal name, Ge'ez: እለ አጽብሐ ʾƎllä ʾAṣbəḥa. Variants of his name are Hellesthaeus, Ellestheaeus, Eleshaah, Ellesboas, and Elesboam. His predecessor was Ousas, his successor was Ella Amidas or Wazena.
