St Edmund's College, a constituent college of the University of Cambridge in England, was founded in 1896 by Henry Fitzalan-Howard, 15th Duke of Norfolk. Arms: Quarterly of 4: Howard quartering Brotherton, Warenne, FitzAlan, with canton of arms of Saint Edmund of Abingdon. (Saint Edmund of Abingdon (c.1174 – 1240) (also known as Edmund Rich, St Edmund of Canterbury and Edmund of Pontigny) Archbishop of Canterbury: Or, a cross fleury gules between four Cornish choughs proper. The arms allude to those of King Edward the Confessor)
