Coats of arms of Frederick III, King of Sicily (1272-1337) (also known as Frederick II), the third son of w:Peter III of Aragon: Per saltire Aragon and Hohenstaufen
Arms of the Kingdom of Sicily from 1296. From 1282 (the start of the reign of w:Peter III of Aragon, King of Aragon, King of Valencia and Count of Barcelona, who married Constance II of Sicily, daughter and heiress of Manfred, the last King of Sicily of the Hohenstaufen dynasty of Swabia (reigned 1258-1266)) the arms were usually shown as Aragon quartering Hohenstaufen, but after 1296 were shown as Per saltire Aragon and Hohenstaufen
