The Clover Club was a fraternal orgnization of men in Allentown, a branch of the main organization in Philadelphia.
It was chartered on March 4th, 1897 and the club met primarily in members homes in January 1916, the club purchaced a formal clubhouse at 940-942 Hamilton Street. In October 1923, the club moved to a new location in a Victorian home at 26 North 9th Street.
The Ninth Street property was sold in 1960 to the Pennsylvania Power and Light Company when PPL expanded its headquarters along 9th Street north to Linden. It then moved its meetings to the Hotel Traylor.
The club dissolved about 1967.
