Clouts Wood is an ancient wood of 13.62 ha (33.66 acres) now predominantly oak and ash, good for spring and autumn colours. An SSSI there are trails leading though with a stream along the western border of the wood known for butterflies and fungi in the autumn. There is a lay-by to park opposite the entrance on the road leading down into Wroughton.
