English: The Churruca class Spanish destroyers (not to be confused with the Churruca class Spanish destroyers of the 1930s) was a serie of five ex-US Navy Gearing class destroyers, transferred to the Spanish Navy in the 1970s.

Their names and pennants were:

  • D-61 Churruca (ex USS Eugene A. Greene DD-711),
  • D-62 Gravina (ex USS Furse DD-882),
  • D-63 Méndez Núñez (ex USS O'Hare DD-889),
  • D-64 Lángara (es USS Leary DD-879),
  • D-65 Blas de Lezo (ex USS Noa DD-841).
They were decommissioned in 1989-1991.
Español: Destructores españoles clase Churruca (no deben confundirse con los destructores clase Churruca de los años 1930): fue una serie de cinco buques procedentes de la US Navy (clase Gearing) transferidos a la Armada Española en los años 1970s.
