English: The Church of the Holy Innocents at Mount Peel, Canterbury, New Zealand, is a chapel registered with the New Zealand Historic Places Trust as a Category II heritage item, with registration number 1976. It is in the grounds of Mount Peel homestead, Peel Forest. The chapel was designed by Edward Ashworth, who had been an artist in Auckland, 1842-1844, before returning to England. The Victorian Gothic building is built of greywacke boulders from the Rangitata River bed, faced with Mount Somers limestone. Ngaio Marsh is buried in the graveyard.
