English: Christoph Sower (German: Johann Christoph Sauer) (1695-1758) was the first German-language printer in North America. He worked as a printer and publisher in Germantown (now part of Philadelphia), Colonial Pennsylvania. He was the father of Christopher Sower (younger) (1721-1784) and grandfather of Christopher Sower III (1754-1799, both also printers in Germantown.
