Christiana, Pennsylvania is a borough of over 1,000 people in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It is the site of the historic 9-11-1851 "Christiana Riot" which was the first test of the 1850 Fugitive Slave Law. The town is NOT listed on the National Register of Historic Places, but the proposed historic district is listed as "eligible" by the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission.
