Chiruthalu are two small wooden instruments. Gajjes are placed on these. There are rings for attaching fingers to both sticks. They are mostly used in South India (Harikathas, or bhajans only). Harikathakas use small Chiruthalalu. There are small gajjes stuck in between them. When we play them, we can hear the sound of these gongs together.
