- The fishing steamer Chicago, after being damaged slightly by stranding at Fish Egg Island, Alaska on May 1, was wrecked June 21 at Warm Chuck, Prince of Wales Island, the cargo becoming a total loss but the hull later refloated and converted to a barge.
