- English: The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Lift Bridge is a steel girder vertical lift bridge in Williamsport, Maryland. It was designed and built to carry a single, standard-gauge railroad track across the canal. It was built in 1923 for the Western Maryland Railway, to deliver coal to an adjacent power plant. The railway discontinued use of the bridge about 1970.
