From FOMU: "After his death, the company kept the same name under the management of his widow, Marie Elisabeth Angélique Schodts (+ Louvain, 8.8.1870). [...] Thereafter, her son-in-law (Jean-)François Meeus continued to run the studio, still under the name of his father-in-law. In 1876 he established himself on his own account acquiring the negatives, while Pierre Charles Louis Verbeke, son of Charles-François, acquired the studio."
